Well, I am missing the circus tonight. THANKS alot snow. It is pretty…but it is cutting into my personal events. Not only did I get jipped out of going to the circus but they have canceled the karate banquet. For the second time! AND, they are calling for snow again on Sunday. I am telling you, this is some crazy Georgia weather we are having this winter.

The dogs are certainly enjoying the snow. Romping around wrestling, running, and jumping. They have been really funny to watch.
It is however enough to make me want to dig out the Rimowa luggage and fly to the tropics…only I can’t get to the airport I don’t think. Then if I could it would be the issue of flights taking off or being stranded. So, here I sit in my snuggy freezing watching the white stuff continue to fall.
I do have some winner to tell you about…
The Pedia-Lax Fiber Gummies winner is:
#11- Amanda Starr
The Chocolate Cheerios winner is:
#27 – GaHome2Mom
Congratulations to you both!!
Please check your e-mail for verification.
And, until next time…I am going to cozy up and hibernate. Please wake me up when spring hits.

This has been the craziest of days for me. They released Bric from the hospital, which is a good thing…only we have no answers still. He is a medical enigma apparently. They know that he has some sort of infection raging through his body, they just can’t pinpoint where and why. So we will be consulting with a surgeon next week because they want to do some exploratory surgery to see what the bulge in his side is and what is causing all of this mess.
THEN, I lost my mother. Seriously, I lost her. I talked to her this morning when she called to check on Bric, she let me know that she would be around today if I needed her and that she was just going to hang around the house and have a lazy day. Well, I was calling her to let her know what was going on and she never answered the phone. I couldn’t get her on the cell phone either. After over an hour of trying to find her panic was starting to set in. Had something happened to her? Where was she? What could be wrong? She always answers her phone or calls me right back. Then after an hour and a half I sent Tate to go and check on her…and of course at this point I have all kinds of horrific thoughts going through my head…the best of those being “Help, I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up”. Sooo, Tate calls me back and says she isn’t at home. Well, that at least alleviates a few of my fears…now I have all kinds of other fears creeping in relating to automobile accidents. Good grief where in the heck is she and what in the world is wrong?! So, I start calling my Sisters. Well, that is where I found her…she was over the mountain having lunch with my older sister and never heard her phone ring. Hmmm, How in the heck can you not hear it ring 5 thousand times?! So after I got over that almost heart attack moment I decided I am going to get her a hearing aid for Christmas. Sorry, Mom, but really…you always answer my calls and you deserve it after almost sending to my grave early!
Then, we get settled in here at home and I finally sit down to draw the winners for the contests that ended on Friday when all chaos broke loose…and Random.Org is down. What the heck? Random dot org, I depend on you, how can you let me down on today of all days? So, I still don’t have winners for my giveaways that ended 2 days ago. I thought about going back to the old Post-It note method that I used when I first started having giveaways, but by golly, I don’t wanna go to the store to buy Post-It notes right now and I know that there is no way in heck that I have enough to do all 5 contests. So, you will all just have to wait for one more day and hope to goodness that Random dot org gets their act together before then.
In saying all that…I am exhausted! WAY beyond tired. I am going to put my pajamas on, fix me a cup of hot chocolate, turn on some sappy Sunday evening movie and crash. Maybe I should put in some identity theft protection because I may not wake up for a week. Nah, I wouldn’t make you wait that long to hear who the winners are. At least I don’t think I would.

Ok, I am a slacker. I admit it. Life gets in the way, I get behind and things turn to chaos.
I have this new thing that we just can’t help snuggling with. She is just too adorable!

She will cuddle in just as close as she can. She is such a people dog. She likes being in the thick of things and loves all of the attention you are willing to lavish on her and then some. We think she is such a star that she should be receiving tv deals. And oh my goodness, those little puppy licks will get you every time!
And we had company over for dinner and cards last night. And to prepare for that I had to do a gazillion loads of laundry. Seriously…and I still don’t have it all caught up. Why I have so much laundry I have no idea. But I have done about 7 loads a day for the past 3 days. AND JUST LET ME SAY…I am SICK of laundry!
Karate is every night this week, we are preparring for a tournament this weekend. Tate will not be competing because…on Monday he received his Yellow Belt. So, with him moving up a belt and a tournament so soon he decided that we would just go watch, support his fellow teammates and volunteer our services to support our studio in the tournament. It is sponsored by UKS, where Tate takes and they will need people to run for stuff, ScoreKeepers, TimeKeepers, etc. DO I have a picture of Tate getting his Yellow Belt? NOOooo, this well prepared mother forgot her camera at home.
Now, the whole point of this post is to announce some winners. Well, that is at least what it started out having the intention of.
Yoplait – #1 – JamieZ
Tacofuness – #49 – Melanie
Congrats on your wins!!

…so sorry, I was a teen in the 80’s. I listened to all the big hair bands like Poison. And I liked them. I still have some of the cassettes. Seriously. Don’t tell anyone, it seriously dates me, but I can’t help it. Now, my son is a huge fan of 80’s music and I love him for that. The big difference is that he has them on CD and he calls it old music instead of cool music. He doesn’t care for Country Music though, but my daughter Erin loves it. Me, I just like all kinds of music in every genre imaginable. Beause you know what they say, variety is the spice of life, or something similar to it. Once I went to a David Lee Roth concert and had some really good friends who were David Lee Roths roadies…I got to go backstage and hangout. It was really cool but trust me when I say that Beer and Oreos don’t really go together very well. Those were the days. No thinking about bills, raising kids, purchasing term life insurance or all that other grown up stuff. It was all about living in the moment and going with the flow. I wouldn’t go back to it for the world though and I can’t remember half of it. I like the sober life…it is so much clearer.
Now for the winners of the SugarhouseInk:
