I am so far behind on things around here that I have just almost caught back up to myself. I have to tell you something!! I went outside this morning and it was actually cool. I am so excited. That means that Fall weather is on it’s way. The air here has been so hot and heavy with humidity for so long now that I forgot what it felt like to take in a deep breath and it feel refreshing. Better than applying for medical assistant school. I thought about that once, applying to go to medical school. Then I came to my senses and realized that I really wasn’t the type of person who would do well with other people yelling at me while running on a very limited amount of sleep.

I have been working on painting my bathroom this week. Yes, I said week. What should take normal people approx. 1 day is taking me forever. It is getting quiet comical because anytime anyone calls they ask what I am doing and I tell them painting the bathroom the stock response is now “STILL?” Yes, still. Ok, I am going to cross my fingers and hope that my Mother isn’t reading today…
When my house was my Mother’s house and her house was my house she painted the bathroom this really dark blue. Who knows why, a good daughter doesn’t ask these things, she just did. So, now I am painting over a really dark yet bright blue. And it takes awhile. and I paint slow. And I started out all gungho, but I lost my gumption and get up and go somewhere along the way. I want to be able to snap my fingers and it be done…or I want Bric to help. Bric is the best painter I have ever seen but he hates to paint and he has been super busy this week. I did con Stephanie (my niece) into helping out for a couple of hours one evening but now she has gone back to college. Erin (my daughter) has gone back to college. Tate (my son) is a messy, messy painter and I would just rather not have his help than have to do it all over and fix messes. Marissa (friend of the girls who lives with us) is also reported to be a horrible painter. So, it is just me. I will go paint for a bit and then work on one of the other 50,000 things I need to get done and perhaps by the end of the week I might at least almost be done.
Meanwhile, I want an iPhone with the iphone warranty. I never really thought I wanted one but I have finally decided to get with the times and at least think about it. I know in the long run I would be pleased. It is just taking that initial jump. That and I am not up for an upgrade anytime soon and I hate the thoughts of shelling out that much for a phone.

I love it when I get to announce winners, it is more exciting that finding the best acne cream ever. I like seeing the surprise on your face when you hear you have won.
