You scream, I scream, we all scream for Ice Cream!!!
It is getting to that time of year where we stock up on more and more of our favorite treats. We are a big ice cream family. Here in the South the days are starting to get longer and hotter and there is just nothing better than a cool treat to help cool off. The problem with loving ice cream is all of the calories and fat that come with it. Thank goodness we now have options such as the new Weight Watcher line of cool treats to help us cool off AND save calories at the same time without the loss of any flavor.
Weight Watchers Double Caramel Swirl
  • WW Snack Size Double Caramel Swirl Ice Cream Cones

This happens to be my personal favorite! But, I am a caramel lover. These snack size treats are the perfect size for a snack to cure your craving without loading you down with calories that bust your diet wide open.

These are pretty dang good too!!

Weight Watchers Divine Triple Chocolate

  • WW Divine Triple Chocolate Dessert Bar

These are Bric’s favorite! He ate the whole box before I even got around to trying one. Of course, he loves chocolate and ice cream so he was in heaven.

Weight Watchers Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwiches

  • WW Snack Size Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwiches

Now these, these are Tate’s favorite. He even made smoothies out of them, which were DELICIOUS!

Tates Smoothie

Tate created the recipe, he made the smoothie and he even took a picture of it for you.

1 Weight Watchers Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwich

3 scoops Low-fat strawberry Greek Yogurt

7 ice cubes

Allow the ice cream sandwich to soften a bit and then put all of the ingredients in the blender. Blend on low until everything is mixed well and the ice cubes are crushed really well. Makes 1 serving. Enjoy.

These products should be in stores now! You can learn more about Weight Watchers Ice Cream and other supermarket foods by becoming a fan of the Facebook page Facebook.com/WeightWatchersSupermarketFoods.

Weight Watchers Ice Cream provided free samples for me and my family to try,  but all opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by receipt of product.

Oh my goodness. I forgot today was Monday!! How did I forget today was Monday? Well, there are many days when I have no idea what day it is. It just isn’t something that I really keep up with. I know that sounds crazy but I work from home. I home school Tate. And we just go from day to day doing what needs to be done and not worrying about the day, date or time. I usually know it is a weekday because Bric gets up and goes to work, but he was on call all weekend and went to work both days so it sort of messed up my usual way of knowing what is going on.

motivation week 11

I have been BAD, BAD, BAD over the past week. Bric bought himself some powdered doughnuts…and I found them. Then Tate wanted some homemade French Fries and I made them…and ate some. It went downhill from there. I haven’t even weighed which I usually do ever Monday because I know just how bad I was last week. But it is all ok. I knew when I started this journey there would be set-backs. I knew that I wouldn’t change all of my habits over night and that it would take time to get to where I want to be. I will get there, set-backs and all. Today I will just start over, be diligent and ban Bric from bringing home more powdered doughnuts.

motivational monday

It is so easy to have a bad day, or a bad week and beat yourself up about it. But, the thing is, it happens to everyone. What matters is that you get back up and start again instead of staying down and giving up the fight.

I got up fighting this morning…after a terrible weekend. I chewed all my nails off, I gained 3 pounds and was so discouraged,  all due to a life change. But I knew I had to get back up…and start again. So this morning I am back on track!

How are you doing today?

Motivation

WOW, another week has gone by and I am still doing good! Usually by now I have grown frustrated and given up. This time it has been different. I think because I was so ready for some change and I wasn’t willing to give up under any circumstance. I knew I was going to fight.

Yes, I know it is hard meeting goals but YOU can do it! I had about given up on me even loosing one pound but I did loose one and then another and then another. I still have a long way to go but I am getting there one pound at a time. And that is how you will get there as well. One ____________ (fill in the blank) at a time!!
