This year is flying by and it is not long at all until Halloween is upon us and ghosts and goblins will be lining the streets. Parties everywhere and sugary goodies filling the tummies of the young and young at heart. Am I prepared? That would be a BIG no.
If you’re like me, you’re probably frantically scrambling to find your kid (or yourself) a Halloween costume. What is with the prices for costumes this year?? Your child is going to wear it for maybe three hours, so how do you justify spending $50 on it?
One tool I’ve discovered is eBay. You can get slightly used costumes for a fraction of the cost (as well as brand new ones). And the way I like to browse on eBay these days is PicClick.com.

PicClick.com, a visual eBay browser, is seeing more people searching for Halloween costumes this year on eBay. CEO Ryan Sit says in the past month, 10,000 people have searched for Halloween costumes for kids or adults. “With the economy being what it is, more people are turning to eBay for used or discounted items. We merely provide a useful channel to get there,” said Sit.
With PicClick you can see up to a hundred products on one page compared to a handful in the standard eBay view. It makes it super easy to scan all the costumes to find exactly what you’re looking for. eBay itself sometimes makes it hard to do this quickly.

Don’t you just love it? It makes browsing for any particular item so much easier. Try it out, you will be addicted. Like the good kind of addicted. Make your life so much easier addicted. Seriously, it is that good.
