Let’s Get it Together!
November 29th, 2009During the Holidays my house becomes chaos. I mean SERIOUS chaos. I have stuff sitting anywhere and everywhere that I can possibly find to sit stuff. I have wrapping supplies strowed in every room. Cooking supplies are sitting all over the place because certain ingredients go with certain recipes and that can’t be mixed up or Tate will eat it all (he eats 24/7). I am running here, there and everywhere. It just becomes chaos.
So, there is no better time to implement some organization than during the Christmas season. And there are no better products out there to help with that than Rubbermaid. They have containers and gadgets to help you organize anything you can think of. And here is where I started:

This is just 1/8th of what I pulled out of my plastic bowl cabinet. It was scary, I thought I was going to have call in rescue to find me. I threw tons away and reorganized the whole cabinet with these:

Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids! Oh my, the lids snap on the bowl. That means no more searching and searching for a lid and bowl that match. These are my dream come true. After I finished that project I moved over to my pantry. Well, I haven’t finished that project yet because I didn’t get as many of these as I needed:

I am filling these with all my dry goods…you know the flour, cornmeal, sugar, coffee, tea, noodles, rice, etc. They have a great seal and stack nicely making everything look so professional. Not that I am professional or anything, but heck, I can look it at least! Rubbermaid Lock-its are great for most anything and they come in so many different sizes that they will fit any need. You will have no spills on the go or at home! Lock-Its has four locking tabs for an extra secure lid seal. Your food is spill safe whether you enjoy it at home or throw it in a bag to take with you.
• 4 Locking tabs for an extra secure lid seal
• Built-in rubberized seal makes it easy to clean
• Easy Find Lids System keeps lids and based organized! Lids snap to bases and to other lids for easy storage
• One lid fits multiple bases
• Available in 10 sizes
• Microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe
It is my goal to have my kitchen completely organized by the first of the year and then to keep it that way…I think I might have a chance with Rubbermaid’s help. I will keep ya posted. If you know of someone who is in great need of getting organized this year, these would make GREAT gifts! Hint Hint.
Rubbermaid supplied a sample of the Lock-Its. I was in no other way compensated for this post, I do just really happen to love Rubbermaid products. All opinions are my own and please remember that individual results may vary.
