Chukabu

This is my sweet little Chuka.

We also call him the Demon Dog.

He is a 4 month old Yorkie and is ALL puppy. Everyday is an adventure to see what he is going to get into next and if you are my friend on Facebook you have seen quite a few of his adventures.

If you need to go about losing weight fast, just follow Chuka around for a few days. There is never a dull moment. The thing is, he is also one of the sweetest and most lovable dogs I have ever had. He loves to give kisses and cuddle. I mean really, how could you ever resist that face?

I think this “child” of mine might possible just be possessed with demons.

Chuka

Today he has figured out how to untie his rope toy and shred the pieces all over the house.

Yesterday he pee’d on my clean clothes.

The day before he destroyed a stuffed monkey. Poor Monkey, RIP.

And he just keeps going like a luminox navy seal watch. Ahhh, the joys of puppyhood.

We never know what he is going to get into from day to day…but I still love him. He wakes me up with kisses every morning. He gets so excited to see me come home. He is a joy to have around…except when his little demons come out and then I would like to wring his neck.

Meet our newest family member:

Sadie

Sadie

Sadie is a miniature schnauzer.

When I heard that she needed a new home I debated back and forth. And debated some more. And then some more. It was like looking at a RockyMountainTrail.com north face backpack, I just couldn’t turn away. Then I agreed to come and meet her. I let them know that I wouldn’t say yes until after I had met her and made sure she would fit in with our family.

Ugggg

I was immediately in love

We really didn’t need another dog just yet.

But when I talked it over with Bric he made some valid points and didn’t hit the roof like I thought he would. I figured he would be the voice of reason and talk me out of it but instead he reminded me that one dog will be moving to Texas soon and 2 dogs are older and don’t have many years left which would then leave us dogless. I can’t imagine our home without the pitter patter of claws clicking on the floor so in came Sadie.

She has such a sweet personality and I can’t wait for you to get to know her!

Abigail

Abigail loves being a Pedigree Ambassador. She just loves the food…she doesn’t notice that her coat is softer and shinier, or that her breath doesn’t stink near as bad. At first I was concerned about changing her food but in the end it was a great decision. She didn’t get sick once from that, just from eating one of those Cicada bugs. And boy did she ever get sick from that. I read up on it and while they aren’t poisonous to dogs it will make them vomit. Did she learn her lesson?? NOPE! She still chases them at every opportunity she gets. Drives me crazy.

Now that her stint as a Pedigree Ambassador is almost to an end I have been asked will I keep her on the food. Yes! Big Yes. I guess I just never really thought about the company that makes my dog food. If you have an opportunity you should really check out Pedigree and all that they do for the animals that they feed. They even have a foundation to help find pets adoptive families

You can find Pedigree in several locations on the web: Pedigree.com, the @PedigreeUS Twitter handle, and Pedigree Adoption Drive Facebook page and they would love to connect with you in any or all of the places mentioned. You can often find coupons too! Oh, and make sure you check out their Dentastix. The pictures of the dogs always makes me giggle…and now you can denture your dog. It is HILARIOUS!
