We were all out washing cars yesterday afternoon and as we were cleaning out the inside of my car I took my coupon binder out and casually mentioned to Bric that I sure wished there was a coupon for gas.

He reached in his pocket and said that he had one for one gallon if I would like to have it….

Every time I go to the grocery store I get THAT LOOK. Erin and I took a trip to Kroger’s tonight. It is always comical to watch the people in the line behind me when I am checking out. Once they see me pull out all my coupons you can see them get forehead wrinkles and the look on their face has that “Oh Goodness, I got behind the wrong person” look. Then, once all is said and done and my final total comes up the look of awe and surprise is priceless!

I just look at them smugly as my total goes down, down, down. And I smile bigger and bigger. It may be a pain to those who do not coupon…but for us, it has saved our budget 10 times over. My total tonight before any savings was $184.12 after all coupons and savings it was $38.77. Yep, I smiled pretty big as I walked out with my haul. My wallet smiled even bigger!
