Easter is quickly approaching. It is one of my very favorite holidays. I love the colors, the weather (ok, most of the time anyway) and the jellybeans! One of the highlights for us is the Easter Egg Hunt. Over the years we have learned many lesson. We will inevitably not find all the eggs. If we put chocolate candy in the eggs the weather will be warm and gorgeous (meaning the chocolate melts). Whatever eggs aren’t found by the kids will be found by the lawnmower. The laws of Easter, that is just the way it is.

So, through trial and error I have found some of the BEST candy to go in the eggs:

My very favorite is the Wonka SweeTart Jellybeans. Those little suckers are addictive and by the time Easter actually gets here I have to make another run to stock back up.

I just can’t help grabbing a couple of beans every time I walk by so this year I have a carrot shaped bag with my favorite flavor. ALL for me. I just hope they keep me out of the rest that are meant for eggs. I am not holding my breath though. These are also great for Easter Baskets! I think the Easter Bunny knew eggsactly what he was doing when he came up with this sweet treat. AND it is going to be on sale at Walgreens starting this Sunday!!

We are planning for a wedding.

This has been a pretty crazy year so far with my daughter getting engaged and them deciding that they want to get married sometime near the end of the year. The dress has been picked out and ordered. The plates, cups and flatware have been decided upon. We are working on the bridesmaid dresses and the location.
