Yesterday I celebrated being a Middle Child. Today I am celebrating being left-handed! It is turning out to be a celebratory week for me!!

Did you know that only about 10% of people are left-handed? That makes us a special bunch indeed. It is also said that we are the only ones in our right mind. Hundreds of years ago people thought that left-handed people were evil and they were even sought out and executed! Wowsers, glad I wasn’t born in that era!

Novica is in association with National Geographic and hopes to create a bridge between you and the many talented artisans across the globe. They have so many great items that my biggest problem is always what I want to buy next.

The girls all got some Sterling Silver Jewelry for Christmas from a talented jewelry maker that lives in Thailand.

My friends at Energizer have teamed up with the National Park Foundation to launch a public effort to power and preserve America’s national parks. We frequent National Parks every opportunity that we have, our favorite one that is relatively close to us in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park:

I love it there. It is a gorgeous place to visit if you are ever in the area. And very much worth preserving.
