Come Friday we are all going to be wondering what to do with leftover turkey.

This is a great sandwich that is easy to make and has tons of flavor.
Just gather your ingredients.
I cook my bacon in the oven by lining a pan with aluminum foil, laying the bacon out (2-3 slices per sandwich) and baking on 375 degrees for approx 15 minutes.

Give the mushrooms a rough chop and saute in butter for about 8 minutes. Add the turkey gravy and allow to simmer on medium low for another 10 minutes.

Place one onion roll on a baking sheet for each person, place a slice of Swiss cheese on one side of the roll, turkey on the opposite side.

After the mushroom mix has simmered for about 10 minutes place the rolls in the oven on 375 degrees until the cheese has melted.

Add bacon and some mushroom mix to each roll

And serve!
Hot Turkey Bacon Sandwich with Mushroom Gravy
1 package onion rolls
peppered turkey, sliced thin
swiss cheese
1 can turkey gravy
1 – 8 ounce package sliced mushrooms
bacon
Cook 2-3 slices of bacon for each sandwich. I bake mine in the oven on 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, but if you prefer to fry it that is fine. Give the mushrooms a rough chop. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan, add mushroom. Saute for approximately 8 minutes. Add the turkey gravy to the mushroom and allow to simmer for 10 more minutes. Place one onion roll for each person open on a cookie sheet. On one side place a slice of swiss cheese and on the other side place some of the sliced turkey. Bake on 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes. Place each onion roll on a plate, add bacon and some mushroom gravy to each sandwich and serve hot.
