TIME’s UP!!!!

Mornings are rough around here. The whole Post-It Place clan is grumpy…I mean really grumpy in the morning. And we all have to have a good cuppa joe to get us going. Mr. Technosavy, he is the biggest connoisseur of coffee here, he is very particular about his coffee. Me, I am not as bad as he is, but I cannot drink coffee that has a bitter taste to it, it just repulses me. The Princess, she likes hers bold. Smarypants, he doesn’t care, as long as he can sneak a taste. In comes Dr. Paulo. Dr. Paulo Farms located in Hawaii grows and distributes Kona Coffee and Macadamia Nuts. Their coffee is bold and smooth with no bitter taste at all. We all LOVE Dr. Paulo Kona Coffee. Dr. Paulo’s Farms is the largest privately owned grower of 100% Kona Coffee and macadamia nuts located in the South Kona District on the Big Island of Hawaii. Dr. Paulo’s has eleven different farms located in a very unique microclimate which allows for harvesting coffee and macadamia nuts year around. This provides their customers with a consistent farm direct supply of the highest quality of fresh Kona coffee and macadamia nuts from a single origin year around.

It is fresh and it is delicious!

And…the macadamia nuts…they are to die for. Especially the chocolate and white chocolate covered ones. Yummm. And the chocolate covered coffee beans…both delicious and great for a quick pick-me-up.

Why eat macadamia nuts? They are the world’s finest nuts characterized by their crisp texture, delicate flavor, versatility of use and long shelf life. Also, they are good for you. The macadamia nut contains the highest level of monounsaturated fatty acids in any natural commercial food. Medical research has shown that the consumption of macadamia nuts may significantly lower the risk of heart disease. They can be eaten as a delicious healthy snack and used in almost any recipe that calls for nuts including stir fry, fruit salads, breads and cakes.

Why eat Dr. Paulo’s macadamia nuts? Dr. Paulo’s macadamia nuts are dehydrated and farm direct from a single origin. Dr. Paulo’s is one of three growers in the world that owns the patented nut cracker that gives us the ability to dehydrate the nuts out of the shell rather than drying the nuts in the shell. Dehydration only minimally affects the nutritional value of the macadamia nut as it is the least damaging form of food preservation. Also, Dehydration uses 60% less power than conventional drying which decreases the impact on the environment.

Dr. Paulo Farms does everything possible to decrease their impact on the environment and continue to produce high quality products. They have done a phenomenal job.

The Post-It Place Clan…we are a divided bunch. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Ohana Hale Reserve and Mr. Technosavy likes the Estate Blend the best. Really, we like them all, but we do each have our favorites. Of course, I can eat the chocolate cover macadamia nuts or the chocolate covered beans anytime. Now, if I could just get a visit in somehow, life would be really good. I bet it is warm there. I bet they are all lounging around the farm eating chocolate covered beans, sipping on a cuppa joe, talkin about the days events. Me, I am watching it sleet, trying to stay warm, wishing I could con persuade Dr. Paulo into sending for me…in exchange I would be a coffee and nut taster…now that would be the life.

AND, they are offering one of you lucky readers the opportunity to try…a sampler pack. Ohhh, if you win…call me and we will sit and drink coffee and eat macadamia nuts together…and pretend we are on the farm in Hawaii soaking up the sun and passing the time away.
