I LOVE walking outside and seeing green!

It is so much brighter and cheerful than brown.

I need to spend today cleaning house , getting laundry caught up and all that stuff but the weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last few days and it is supposed to start storming tonight or tomorrow so I am thinking of getting out and enjoying the sunshine today. After all, I know that dust and dirt ain’t goin nowhere. It will sit right here and wait on me.

My yard needs so much work. I didn’t really do anything in it last year because I was down in my back. I need to fertilize, hydrolyze, and whatever else you are supposed to do to a lawn. My flower beds need to be weeded. Ok, so really they need to just be dug completely up because they are now mostly all weeds. And everything needs fresh mulch. I love to smell fresh mulch as much as I like to look at it.

So clean or be in the green? I am going with being one with the green.

My Mom bought herself a lawnmower that she can use and maintain. I think she got tired of relying on us to either Mom her lawn or start her mower. Anyway, everyone of the kids that comes through here LOVES this thing. Tit is old fashioned, has no motor, is not newfangledwithtonsofbellsandwhistles, but they all love it! Who would have thought? And, it is great exercise. Even better for the environment. And Shhhh, it is fun to use. Please don’t tell. I have snuck over a few times to check it out and I really like it. But please don’t tell her, cause I made fun of her when she got it. I didn’t think it would work very good. I was wrong. Very wrong. And I love that the kids like to “play” with it, because when they do…they get half the work done! How great is that?
