Do you like Balsamic Vinegar? I LOVE the stuff. Except for this one time that I saw some in the Dollar Tree, and it was only $1, so I thought Hey, I am gonna try it. It wasn’t good. You could tell it was cheap, it was like a watered down version of Balsamic Vinegar. Ewww. Anyway, if it is good, I like it! And I found out that The Artisanal Kitchen has the good stuff!

Made in Italy in wood barrels, it is a highly versatile balsamic, ideal for cooking and dressing. Drizzle it straight on fresh strawberries, salad, bread or cheese, or cook with roasted meats and chicken. My personal favorite is on a sandwich. I love making a sandwich loaded with ham, cheese, freshly sliced tomatoes and onions. Then toast it, add lettuce and then either drizzle balsamic vinegar on it or dip the sandwich in it bite by delicious bite.
You can use any kind of bread that you want, these were made with Kings Hawaiian Rolls. Yummy!! I usually toast my sandwich in the oven, open faced on 375 degrees for about 8 minutes, then broil it for a few minutes. That is just a personal choice and really, you can make yours with anything on it and it will be wonderful dipped in balsamic vinegar.
There are many wonderful recipes using balsamic vinegar. One such recipe is BBQ chicken topped with caramelized red onions made with The Artisanal Kitchen Aceto Balsamico di Modena. You can find the recipe on The Artisanal Kitchen’s website.
