I love it when warm weather hits and we start uncovering from the cold. The pool will be open soon, the house will be full of friends and family and all the new flavors of Weight Watchers Ice Creams hit store shelves!!

Overall every flavor was a hit. I think my personal favorite would have to be the Snack Size Red Velvet Ice Cream Sandwiches but for an everyday treat I like the Cookies and Cream. Or the Chocolate Smoothie. Or the Giant Latte Bar. Or the Peach Swirl Greek Yogurt. Or the Blueberry Swirl Greek Yogurt. So yeah, I like them all. I just can’t help myself.

Summer…the perfect time for ice cream. At least that is what most folks think. For us, Ice Cream is a year-round treat. You can usually always find it in our freezer. And what is our all-time favorite brand? We are partial to Edy’s. Rich, creamy deliciousness!! If you live west of the Rockies you will know Edy’s as Dreyer’s…but it is the same delicious goodness!

While we received a couple of coupons to try Edy’s it certainly wasn’t our first experience. We have been eating their slow churned ice cream for quite some time. What is our favorite flavor? That depends on who you ask. If you were to ask Bric it is hands down Vanilla Bean. If you ask Tate, he yearns for Triple Cookie Fudge Sundae. Me, I opt for this:

Spring is just around the corner…and summer is on it’s way. A favorite warm weather treat in my house just happens to be ICE CREAM!! With this being the year that I have decided to really work towards eating healthier and sticking to portion control I was thrilled when I found out about all of the new Weight Watchers Ice Creams hitting stores nationwide this month. They have introduced 6 new products, 4 of which are 100 calories or less! Now that is a snack I can get excited about…for myself and my family.

I have to say…these are GREAT! I was a little skeptical because after all, it is low calorie, low fat. But there is no sacrifice as far as taste goes. Bric even said that he thinks the fudge bars taste better than the regular ones that are full of fat, sugar and calories. And when Bric says they are good…you know they are going to be. He is the biggest ice cream junkie I have ever met. I like them all but if I had to choose just one it would be the Dulce de Leche. I am also partial to the Strawberry Fruit Bars, they taste like biting into a fresh strawberry!

After trying all 6 varieties we found that there wasn’t one that we didn’t like. That’s saying something when every member of a family likes ALL the varieties. In other words…I Scream, You Scream, We ALL Scream for Ice Cream! Wells Enterprises, the company that makes Blue Bunny makes the Weight Watchers Ice Cream…no wonder it is so stinkin good!

Opps, I have to go. There isn’t but one Dulce de Leche bar left and it is calling my name before someone else gets to it!

They have been calling for snow here again. Thank goodness it missed us by a bit. Several cities around the area did get hit with some of that plentiful white stuff but I am so thankful that it wasn’t us. After being stuck here for a week with no way in or out during the last snow we had I wasn’t looking forward to it one bit.

Do you know what being stuck with the same people 24/7 does to your sanity? Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE my family dearly, I really do. But I was getting ready to look up the prices of body bags and shovels. Instead though I looked up things like Polaris Sportsman ATV Parts so I could escape instead of committing murder. Cause then I would of probably been stuck in a 7 X 9 cell with someone named Broomhilda who has a beard.
