If you are like me you are constantly on the lookout for fun new games that your whole family will enjoy. We love the classics but sometimes we want something new and fresh from our usual. With the new line of Hasbro card games we can have both! And talk about fun, we have had a blast playing three of the new 2010 games that came out this Spring and are highly anticipating the release of the fourth this Fall. Many nights you will find us involved in a card or board game, it is what we love to do. We don’t really have an official Family Game Night since we actually celebrate it several times a week. However, we did join in the National Family Game Night last year and we plan to join in on the 2010 Family Game night.  The date for 2010 will be Wednesday, September 29 when once again, Hasbro will encourage families across the U.S. to turn off the television and take a break from busy schedules to laugh and bond over classic family board games such as MONOPOLY, SORRY! and THE GAME OF LIFE.

According to a recent Hasbro survey, 42% of Americans said that they’ve laughed so hard when playing a board game that they’ve snorted! And 25% of Americans have even celebrated a big win with a flashy victory dance. Have you had any laugh out loud moments when playing games? Feel free to post your favorite moments on their Facebook page.

Hasbro has introduced a new line of card games that take a spin on traditional game for the second year in a row. By transforming the board games of SORRY!, YAHTZEE and TRIVIAL PURSUIT into “snackable” play formats and by adding the classic French racecar card game of MILLE BORNES to the line, Hasbro card games provide lasting entertainment whether on the go or for family game night.

All the little Cowboys, Skeleton and Ballerinas wanted to win a fish much to their parents chagrin. It was a huge hit with all the kids who tried again and again to take home a new pet. What is it with kids and pets? Doesn’t matter what it is, they want it. I threatened Tate within an inch of his life that he better NOT win a fish. We need another animal around here like I need to gain another pound.

Tate had a great time at the target shoot booth. Boys and guns. Yep, there is something about that one too.

On the way home we passed by this:

It just cracked me up. They have several lion statues on posts out front of their house…and each one had on a costume. I LOVED it. And well you KNOW I just had to stop in the middle of the road to take pictures to share with you! Even the best eye cream in the world couldn’t get rid of the bags under his eyes. But it was great seeing all their lions all decked out for Halloween. Tate said he bet they give out great candy if they go that out to decorate. I bet he is right.
