Did you know that Rubbermaid has a new line of GLASS storage containers? Ohhhh, watch me drool. These are so great. Glass. Doesn’t stain when you put spaghetti sauce in them and then try to heat it up in the microwave! That’s big folks. Really big! AND, you can not only store food in them, and microwave them but you can put them in the oven…and the freezer. These are perfect for all those 4th of July leftovers we are going to have this evening. Then tomorrow I can warm them up and eat all over again! Yummy!!

Christy and I were eying these in the store one day and as we were drooling and discussing the endless possibilities we decided right them and there we had to have a set. I think that Rubbermaid must have had a spy in there listening to us ooh and ahh because a few days later they asked me would I like to try them out. Heck Yeah!!

Rubbermaid Glass can take your leftovers from the fridge to the oven or microwave and right to the dinner table. Clean up will be a breeze since these containers are also dishwasher safe. Made of crystal clear tempered glass, this container also has a removable rubberized gasket that creates a leak-proof seal.

Now, you can enjoy the organization benefits of the Easy Find Lids system with the versatility of glass. Like other Easy Find Lids products, Rubbermaid Glass containers have lids and bases that neatly nest for compact storage. Lids snap to bases and other lids to make finding the right lid a breeze. Glass bases are designed to stack neatly, which saves space and prevents them from getting stuck together. Rubbermaid glass containers are also ideal for reheating foods in the microwave and the glass bases are oven safe up to 425°F. Plus, a built-in gasket creates a leak-proof seal.

FINISH logo

If there is one thing I hate worse than laundry…it’s doing the dishes. Even though we have a dishwasher, it is all the scraping, rinsing,  loading, unloading, etc. and then there are those times when you don’t do a good enough job and you have really stuck on food all over your dishes because of the heat from the dishwasher baked it on. Just YUCK!

Now, with FINISH Quantum, a revolutionary advanced dishwashing detergent system that has 3 chamber technology that releases agents that breaks down food residues, there is nothing left behind but the shine!

 FINISH product

Its so powerful, there’s no need to pre-rinse your dishes. I tried it and it WORKS!!! The advanced detergent releases each agent when needed during the cycle. POWERMAX™ bleach granules attack tough stains like tea and coffee, powerful enzyme granules soften burnt-on food like lasagna, and POWERBALL® with JET-DRY® gel finishes off dishes with amazing shine. My dishes have seriously never looked better. Ohhh FINISH Quantum, where have you been all my life?

FINISH Quatrum

FINISH® is the #1 recommended brand.  More dishwasher brands recommend FINISH® products than any other brand and I can see why. I seriously never thought that one brand of dishwashing detergent would be better than another…I couldn’t have been more wrong.  Recently FINISH was featured on an episode of Designing Spaces. The segment provides an excellent overview of the dos and don’ts of dishwashing.  Here is the link – http://www.designingspaces.tv/show_segment.php?id=612 I watched this segment before I did my first load of dishes using FINISH Quantum. I was a little skeptical about just how clean my dishes would get without pre-rinsing…but I have to say, my dishes came out cleaner than ever before. I have heard in the past that you really didn’t need to pre-rinse, but the few times I have ran a load without pre-rinsing them, they didn’t come out clean. Now I know it is all about using the right kind of detergent.

FINISH Quantum retails nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 12 count box. However, if you check on the FINISH website you can find a coupon and save $1

FINISH Jet Dry

Along with FINISH Quantum you can now get FINISH® JET-DRY® Turbo Dry® which provides superior drying compared to using detergent alone.  Sometimes dishes come out of the dishwasher wet or with spots (mine usually do). Wouldn’t it be great to have dry dishes right out of the dishwasher, with no more towel-drying? FINISH JET-DRY Turbo Dry is a type of dishwasher additive—a Drying Agent—that is specifically engineered to give you amazingly dry cutlery, glass, and even plastic items. Did you hear that? EVEN the plastic items! You simply fill your rinse agent dispenser with FINISH JET-DRY Turbo Dry and it will be automatically released in the rinse cycle every time your dishwasher runs.

Retails nationwide; SRP for 6.76oz bottle of Turbo Dry is $4.49.

FIVE  winners will each receive a sample of FINISH Quantum and JET-DRY Turbo Dry!
