We spent today in a gym…full of people all dressed in white with belts of different colors.

Tate’s color was yellow.

It was a day of fighting. And fight well he did!
He came in second place!!

He also competed in forms.
And came in Fourth!!
He had an awesome day.
There were many creative displays of fighting and forms to be seen during the day. I love to watch the Weapon Forms. There was one young girl that used battle fans. It was a pretty form and was just beautiful to watch. The Continuous fighting matches are INTENSE and something that I hope Tate never wants to partake in…I imagine as he gets older he will though. He is already looking at training for Weapon Forms.
I tried to take a few picture of the trophies, but I just couldn’t get them to come out right. So, those will come on Monday hopefully. I hope that you have had a fabulous weekend so far. What did you do today?

I loved PLAY-DOH as a child…and every child I know loves PLAY-DOH. I still love PLAY-DOH. My creations with it have become more elaborate than they used to be…my favorite being a deserted island, palm tree and lawn chair, surrounded by the “ocean”. When we drag the PLAY-DOH out it is always a competition to see who has the best creation and who has the weirdest. Tate usually gets the award for the weirdest, great shock I know. Now, PLAY-DOH has so many activity sets that make playing fun. The newest is the…

(Ages 3 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $9.99/Available: Spring 09)
Order up! This fun filled playset will have kids ‘cooking’ up an impressive variety of PLAY-DOH pasta and noodle creations. Simply place the bowl or plate atop the noodle factory, push down the arms, and a big portion of PLAY-DOH pasta appears. Add ‘yummy’ looking toppings like PLAY-DOH meatballs, tomatoes or shrimp using the selection of handy half-molds. Set includes four 3-ounce cans of colorful PLAY-DOH compound and a play mat. Available at most major toy retailers nationwide and on HasbroToyShop.com.

This is such a fun kit! We loved taking everyone’s “order” and making their spaghetti as they requested…even if it was a little outlandish. And it became more outlandish with every order. We had tons of fun though…as we always do with PLAY-DOH! I love how creative children can be when trying to think up the next thing to make. Check out the new Spaghetti Factory and have your child cook up a creative “dinner” for you tonight!
