We all love and wear Old Navy Tees around here. And when we heard that they has a new line of Tees out for the whole family called Old Navy BEST-TEES I knew it was time to stock up. One of my favorite places to shop online is a site that features unique artisans from around the world. Novica is in association with National Geographic and hopes to create a bridge between you and the many talented artisans across the globe. They have so many great items that my biggest problem is always what I want to buy next.

The girls all got some Sterling Silver Jewelry for Christmas from a talented jewelry maker that lives in Thailand.

I have gotten my Mom a handcrafted glass tea pitcher from an artisan that lives in Mexico.

I am addicted, I just can’t help it and I highly suggest that if you are ever looking for unique gifts that you check them out. I mean really…how cool is a chess set made from recycled auto parts?And the sculptures…oh my, they have some of the most gorgeous sculptures. Some of the mother ones would make great Mother’s Day Gifts.

Dress For Success

I remember as a child always being told that you always need to go out dressed for success. As a stay-at-home Mom who homeschools we are lucky to even get dressed most days. I can’t even remember what it feels like to be dressed to kill, hair fixed and make-up on.
Being dressed for both Tate and I means that we have on a pair of shorts and one of those funny t-shirts. Tate’s favorite says: ” Don’t be fooled, I just look like I care”.
My favorite says: “Sarcasm, just one of my many talents”. I love it! I also have one that says: “Silence is Golden, Duct Tape is Silver”.
Yep, we love funny t-shirts. Maybe one day Tate will be into looking at Mens clothing in a different light but somehow I think he will go from t-shirts to camo.
