I love anything citrus and use limes and lemons in many dishes around here and as a marinade for lots of stuff.

ingredients for garlic citrus pork chops

Gather up your ingredients. I forgot to set out the olive oil, the red pepper flakes and the cumin. Ooops, but I did add them in when your supposed to.

Tampico Sun

We recently had a party to celebrate the boys going back to school. We had such fun!

Cheers

Tampico has recently launched their new 20 oz. bottles:

Tampico

The 20 oz bottles are perfect for single servings on the go. The 20oz bottles are available in the following three (3) irresistible flavors:

tropical punch – cherry, orange, pineapple

mango punch – mango, orange, tangerine

citrus punch – orange, tangerine, lemon

Of course here in the sticks we will be the last to see them but you should be able to find them in your neck of the woods. To check to see if they are available in your area you can use their product locator. Tampico punch is a great breakfast, lunch, after-school or ANYTIME drink.

Thumbs Up

We also had a taste test. Citrus vs. Mango. The group favorite is the Mango flavored Tampico. Everyone liked both flavors but majority rules. Even Bric, who came in during the middle of our party loved it. No bitter aftertaste…just good punch!

Stanley

Stanley has hard the hardest time with the whole back to school scene. While I have been friends with his parents for years, they just moved back here over the summer. The boys have had a blast during the summer, but with school back in session we haven’t gotten to see them much. So, when I heard that Stanley needed some fun we knew what to do. We stocked up on ammo, donned the camo outfits and face gear and the boys went to town playing air soft. It’s the new paintball from what they tell me.

Little Tate

This is little Tate. Big Tate is my son, and while Little Tate’s name is actually Tatum we call him “Little Tate”. He is a huge fan of Big Tate and loves that they have the same name. He is such a sweet natured child that you can’t help but smile and laugh the whole time he is around.

We had tons of fun at our Back-to-School bash and everyone loved the Tampico Punch. We can’t wait to make it a regular occurrence! If you are out and about look for Tampico’s new 20 oz. bottles in gas stations, super stores and retailers near you for a quick refreshing drink! We highly recommend it.

“Tampico supplied the punch and some party favors to help facilitate this post. All opinions stated are those of my own and were in no way influenced by any outside source.”
