Aptly named 8 O’Clock coffee saves the day in my house more than any other coffee. Morning comes and Bric can be found grinding the beans, brewing his pot of coffee, fixes his mug and then transforms into a human. Before, he is a bear.  In all the years that we have been married I have been banned from touching HIS coffee pot. He will share with me after it has been made but if I were to try to make a pot he would ring my neck. I am just not a good coffee maker. But seriously, while I may not be able to brew it, who doesn’t love a good steaming cup of joe? He loves the 8 O’Clock coffee because of the rich, smooth taste, it comes in whole bean form AND while it taste like the more expensive brands it is affordable and I can usually find a coupon for it! Win, Win!!

And even more, who doesn’t love the taste of sweet, buttery caramel mixed with the rich aroma of a perfectly brewed cup of coffee? Perfect to wake up with, as an afternoon pick-me-up, or as a sweet treat to indulge in. AND, even I can make it!

Caramel O'clock Coffee

It’s love at first brew.

The best part—you don’t even have to leave the house to enjoy this great creation. It has become my favorite morning pick me up. Coffee, Caramel, AND Chocolate. How could you go wrong?!!

Get to brewing, throw on an apron and let’s be Barista’s!

“I was supplied with a sample of 8 O’Clock coffee and some of the information to help facilitate this post. All opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by receipt of sample. We really do drink and love 8 O’Clock coffee and have used it for years. It’s just that good. And if you love caramel…and chocolate…and coffee, you are going to love it even more. I couldn’t have been happier that a fat tick on a skinny dog when I tried it!”

I have had my Keurig Brewer for several months now…and I love it as much today as when I first got it. It makes the perfect cup of coffee each and every time with no guess work involved. No measuring or guessing how much coffee grounds to use, no measuring or guessing how much water to use. It is wonderful.

No matter what your taste in coffee happens to be, there is a K-Cup that you will love with over 200 different varieties available. They also have teas, hot chocolates and ice teas and coffees available. We are loving the iced coffee blends since it has already been so hot this summer.

You may be asking yourself why a single cup brewer is better. The main reason for me is that I can’t make a decent pot of coffee to save my life. The Keurig saves me time, hassle, money, and sanity. That folks is why it is better for me. And it truly is a better way to enjoy a gourmet cup of coffee. Especially for folks like me that do not have a coffee shop nearby. Or if you want to save some money. Or if you just like to sit on the back porch to drink your coffee. Ok, so you get the picture…it’s just better in so many different ways.

One of my most FAVORITE things to make using my Keurig is Coffee Milkshakes. Yummmmmy!

To get started making a coffee milkshake of your own, brew a fresh cup of coffee. (I used a French Vanilla K-Cup…one of my favs!)

Once your coffee is finished brewing add 2 Tablespoons of sugar so that it can dissolve.

While your coffee is cooling, get your blender out and set up.

Measure out 3 cups of vanilla ice cream (or any flavor that you choose) and place in blender.

Add 1 cup of ice cubes

1 TBSP of Vanilla

1/3 cup of milk

And last add 1 cup of coffee

blender

Blend all together until smooth and has the consistency of a milkshake.

Bre Over Ice Keurig Cup

A good cup of coffee in the middle of 100 degree weather can be hard to take sometimes. It is just so hot that you really don’t want a hot beverage but you still want that coffee fix. Well, take a look at the new Green Mountain Coffee Brew Over Ice Keurig Cups (K-Cups) for the summer:

New for this summer are Green Mountain Coffee®Nantucket Blend®and French Vanilla Iced Coffee in K-Cups. Both are based on the popular hot versions of their namesakes, but are specially blended to provide full flavor when brewed into a cup of ice.

And for the iced tea lovers, two new Celestial Seasonings® Perfect Iced Teas are debuting: Half and Half (part black tea, part lemonade) and Southern Sweet Tea. These new K-Cups join the four Perfect Iced Tea varieties introduced last summer: Sweet Lemon Black Tea, Sweet Peach Black Tea, Sweet Raspberry Black Tea and Black Tea Unsweetened.

Add sugar and creamer if you choose, which I do, and you have a fabulous tasting iced coffee perfect for a hot summer day!

Don’t ya just love how easy it is? Me Too!! If you remember, I am not allowed to make an actual pot of coffee. Bric banned me from that years ago so when I was first introduced to a Keurig, I was THRILLED! I can now make a cup of coffee and it turns out perfect every time. No guess work…ok, so there isn’t any work involved at all. I love all of the different flavors and varieties that Green Mountain Coffee offers and I am really loving the Brew Over Ice varieties and the fact that I can have an Iced Coffee anytime I want without have to leave the house and without paying a fortune.

Speaking of saving money…you can get more information about the Brew Over Ice K-Cups AND get a $1.00 off coupon for Brew Over Iced K-Cups at: http://www.greenmountaincoffee.com/brew-over-ice.aspx
