A Day of Winners

Whew, Tate’s Karate test is over. Supper has been made and eaten. Dishes have sorta been done (they are sitting in the dishwasher). A load of laundry is going. An ad for people who have suffered from malignant Mesothelioma is playing on the television. And the dog is snoring.

Me, I am just tired. It has been a really busy week around here with everyone going in different directions and on top of that one of Bric’s offices is relocating so last night we were finishing up the packing and loading of trucks. I left early compared to most…I think they said that they finally finished with the last load and left at 4:30 this morning. While I should feel guilty for leaving earlier than the majority…I am not going to at all…I made supper and delivered it to them and then packed up 2 of the rooms.

Winter Wonderland And Some Winners

Well, I am missing the circus tonight. THANKS alot snow. It is pretty…but it is cutting into my personal events. Not only did I get jipped out of going to the circus but they have canceled the karate banquet. For the second time! AND, they are calling for snow again on Sunday. I am telling you, this is some crazy Georgia weather we are having this winter.

The dogs are certainly enjoying the snow. Romping around wrestling, running, and jumping. They have been really funny to watch.

It is however enough to make me want to dig out the Rimowa luggage and fly to the tropics…only I can’t get to the airport I don’t think. Then if I could it would be the issue of flights taking off or being stranded. So, here I sit in my snuggy freezing watching the white stuff continue to fall.

Drippin with Drool

I am finally just about to get recuperated from being away at the Blissdom conference. My laundry pile has shrunk form a mountain to a molehill, the dishes are no longer piled to the moon, my dog seems to no longer be a drooling mess. Oh, I think I forgot to tell you about that…I came home to my dog Roxie being in the throws of anxiety attacks and leaving slobbering messes everywhere she happened to be. It was really gross. She would just be standing there drooling all over every surface. She is a little bit attached to me and when I go away for any length of time she makes herself sick with anxiety. She worries over something happening to me and my never returning to save her from the psychotic throws of the rest of the family. Seriously. Of course when you have a 110 pound dog drooling constantly you are going to have some major cleaning to do, as in needing one of those Anilox roll cleaning thingys. Not that I have any clue what that is or if it would even work but it sounds good.

I have so much to tell you later! My weekend in Nashville was in one word WOW. From the Country Inn(troduction) Blog Party to the modern sofas at movie night it was non-stop. I wish I had felt better during the weekend to take further advantage of all that was offered but I think I over did it before I even got there. I am still recuperating and plan to just take it easy for several days. I hope that you all had a fabulous weekend and I can’t wait to catch up!
