I have told you about EcoSMART before. It is one of my favorite eco-friendly companies! I have used many of their products and am always very pleased. EcoSMART was the first company to apply modern science to essential plant oils — creating the first 100% safe pesticides. Their products are based on the natural defenses that plants and trees have used for their self protection against insects and pathogens for millenia – essential oils.
So, this summer as my fruit trees were bursting with all kinds of wonderful treasures to go in my belly and in my freezer I went out to find that they were already covered in worms. Eeeeekkkk! That just wouldn’t do. I couldn’t let the worms have all my fruit. I just couldn’t. So, I turned to EcoSMART Garden Insect Killer. It works instantly, is totally environmentally safe. You can even use the insect killer and harvest your fruit on the same day…because it isn’t harmful at all, it’s just a great organic bug control
Another product that we use constantly is the EcoSMART Insect Repellent for personal use. This summer Erin has been working as a park ranger at our local lake. BUG CITY! She carries and uses the insect repellent every day. Some of the other park rangers have commented on how she never gets bug bites and when she showed them what she uses and told them why, they have all started using it as well. Their natural bug spray is safe to use on you and your children!
Keeps bugs away for hours and is safe for the entire family. We don’t use DEET or other synthetic chemicals -our powerful, all-natural formula is made from organic plant oils, and repels mosquitoes, ticks, gnats and other annoying pests for hours.

When you live in the country AND you have kids…your floor has to be mopped regularly. And when I say regularly that means usually at least once a day, sometimes twice. It just all depends on the weather and the traffic. If it is raining and we have extra kids around I have been known to crawl into bed and hide crying over the state that I know my floors are going to be in.
I have bought all the different spray mops over the years. I have quite the collection (if anyone wants one let me know) that I no longer need nor want. You see, recently I was introduced to the Rubbermaid Reveal. A revolutionary spray mop that is nothing short of FABULOUS. Here, let me tell you why:
1.) It comes with microfiber pads that do a great job cleaning my floors. AND once you are done you simply throw them in the washing machine. In other words, no more running to the store to buy replacement pads. When you live out in the boonies, this is a MAJOR plus!
2.) You can use your own cleaning solution. Anything you want. Seriously, anything. The bottle is refillable and reusable. Again, no more running to the store to buy a pre-made solution made specifically for the brand of mop you are using.
3.) It is easy to use, cost effective, cleans great, and is perfect for me and my family!
If you are very eco-conscious and always wanted to try out a spray mop, the Rubbermaid Reveal is perfect for you. Have allergies in your family and have to be careful of the products you use? The Rubbermaid Reveal is perfect for you too. I have this neurotic dog. She likes to lick the floor when I mop. Yes, I know…she has issues. We are working on them but I think it is going to take awhile. Anyway, I have always been a little concerned about what she is ingesting with some of the cleaners I have used in the past. Now, with the Rubbermaid Reveal I no longer have to worry…I know exactly what is in the cleaner because I made it myself.
When designing the Rubbermaid Reveal, we truly tried to design a mop with you in mind. With the Reveal Spray Mop, you will save money and waste less. The wide, thick microfiber pad reaches deep into cracks and crevices to pick up 50% more dirt than traditional sponge mops. The microfiber pad doesn’t just get floors cleaner; it even helps them dry faster so you can get on with your day.
Rubbermaid Reveal’s refillable bottle gives you a custom clean in no time! Just mix two tablespoons of your favorite cleaning solution with water, close the cap, and click it into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. Need ideas for custom solutions? Try one of these recipes to uncover a brilliant clean with every swipe!
TRY THESE SOLUTIONS!
Mix one of the following into the refillable bottle, close the cap, and click into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop.

All of our local schools participate in the Box Tops for Education program, as most around the country do. I always make sure to clip the box tops and place them in a container that I keep on my kitchen counter especially for them and then drop them off at the school on a regular basis. People would be amazed at the difference that the box tops can make in a school if we all worked together and turned in those box tops. With the start of school either already here or quickly approaching now is the perfect time to start saving those box tops.
While you´re out and about gathering up all of those much needed back-to-school supplies, be sure to stop at your local Kroger Family of Stores (which includes Kroger, Ralph´s, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith´s, Fry´s, QFC, Baker´s, Owen´s, Jay C Food Stores, Hilander, Gerbes, Food4Less, Pay Less Super Markets and Scott´s Food & Pharmacy) to take advantage of their “Add Up the Savings” Event and stock up on your favorite General Mills & Kimberly Clark brands From August 8 through August 21, when you buy 8 participating items from any Kroger store, you´ll receive $4 off of your purchase. Some of the great participating brands include: Cheerios, Yoplait Yogurt, Pillsbury Cookies & Biscuits, Kleenex, Huggies, Betty Crocker Brownies, Cottonelle, and Lucky Charms.
In addition to these great savings, be sure to take advantage of the special Bonus Box Tops Offers and get a jumpstart on helping the participating school of your choice this year. It’s a win-win situation for all involved!
