The Highway 411 Yard Sale

This weekend we didn’t plan for any exciting trips or activities. We had decided that we would stay home, work around the house a little, relax, watch movies, etc.

So when I found out that the Hwy 411 Yard Sale was going on….I knew my plans had changed. I was getting out of house work after all!

You can enjoy yard sale treasures and gorgeous fall foliage as you travel from Alabama to the scenic Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and down through North Georgia at the Hwy 411 Yard Sale. Held annually since 2003, the Hwy 411 Yard Sale spans three states and more than 250 miles.

With more junk than you can shake a stick at! I saw everything from live roosters to dunlop motorcycle tires. From furniture to kitchen wares. Clothes. Knick Knacks. Antiques. Basically, if it is something you are looking for, you could probably find it.Well, even if it ain’t something you are looking for you will probably find it.

Bric opted to sit this adventure out. I guess he just doesn’t have the appreciation for “junkin” that I do.

And ya know what…I may just go again today. After all, I only made it about 10 miles of the way yesterday.Yep, I am one of those…the crazy lady that has to brake at every single one. I might miss something if I don’t. You never know what treasures await!
