Yes, Jilly Bean – AGE is just a number. I am 49 turning 50 next March and feel like 30.

And, if I had been you at that moment, I am quite sure I would have pulled the young man over the counter and freaked out on him so that he never did that kind of thing again. He would have learned a great lesson – much like the one my husband learned when he asked a young woman “When she was due?” and she wasn’t pregnant.

Clearly, that young man at the counter needs to revisit the halls of “commonsense” and “etiquette” earn when/when not to ask Qs like “Would you like the Senior discount?” because in the end, he will be a happier man for it. That is one that YOU ALWAYS let the person on the other side of the counter ask for … in my humble opinion.

I would be eligible for the senior discount if we had Zaxby’s around here, but I hate that places even call it that. There has to be a better name so we don’t have to hear ‘senior’ when we take advantage.

I can relate!!!!! I just turned 41 and I swear I was just 21 like a couple of years ago!! Or how many of the young military spouses that I know and meet their moms and they are my age but the young ladies refer to them as “old” YIKES!!
