After laying around for several weeks due to a back injury I sure have made up for lost time the last few days. It has been as crazy around here as one of those psycho ps3 games my son plays. We have had to catch up on house work, do some grocery shopping, had company several times, ran all over town running errands and celebrated my niece’s birthday. Whew, I hope I haven’t over done it but I sure was glad to be busy and out of the house some.
I am also completely enamored with the Olympics. I know that some folks say they are boring or whatever but I LOVE the Olympics. I love watching all the folks for here in the great USA realize their dream. They have worked hard to be the best of the best. They have struggled and sacrificed to have the slim hope of making a spot for themselves on Team USA. And no matter what place they come in at their event, they are all winners in my book. I guess if we were to ask President Obama though THEY didn’t do it. Someone else did.
Yeah, that statement by him has been bugging me. I had to put the dig in…I just couldn’t help it. Sorry. Ok, so I am probably not sorry in reality.
