Yesterday we spent the day at the lake celebrating my youngest nieces birthday with family and friends. Whew, nothing wears you out like being outside and on the water all day. I feel like I need shoulder braces to get through the day today.
Some of the highlights…
This is my crazy red-headed niece Sarah. She has the funniest sense of humor and I can’t wait to see where she goes in life. As her and Tate were coming in off the lake yesterday where she had been working to teach Tate how to knee-board she popped off a few remarks that had me rolling. She seems to be able to do that a lot lately!
This is Kristin, the birthday girl. Such a thoughtful and considerate young lady. She always has others on her mind. She made all of her own cupcakes for her party from start to finish, even the homemade icing I wish I had gotten a picture to show you but ummm, I was too busy socializing…and eating :0) They were brightly colored and swirled. And tasted FABULOUS! Happy 12th Birthday Kristin!!
Of course most of you know this little lady. She is my oldest niece Stephanie. A little firecracker for sure…and always camera ready. She is the Diva of the bunch. I did fuss at her yesterday though, she needs to redo her nail polish. If you see her around check out her toes, then tell her you agree with me.
This is the best punch ever…and ohhh so easy!! Simply mix crystal light and ginger ale. Seriously. That is all you have to do and it tastes GREAT!! No other ingredients needed.
I didn’t take very many pictures but we had a fabulous time. It was a great party, good food, and throw in lots of family and friends and you get a Luau of a good time!
