There comes a time in our lives that we all get a little tee’d off. Some of us just experience it in a different way. Growing up my Dad practically lived on the golf course. Now, because I was the tom boy of the bunch (Dad only had daughters) I would get invited to tag along pretty often. It was a great escape…I was always looking for any excuse to get out of cleaning house or hanging out with my sisters. The big draw back is that he always made really early tee times.
Another big reason that I love to go to the golf course was that I got to drive the golf cart. And use the ball cleaner. And spend the whole day with my Dad and his buddies. It made me feel grown-up. I would always get really excited when I would hear him make an advanced 48 hour tee times on Thursdays. That meant he was playing that Saturday and that also meant that I was likely to be invited along as the official driver.
This summer I have focused a lot on spending more time with your family. Becoming closer to one another through activities that improve relationships and are fun to boot. So check out www.48hourteetimes.com and get tee’d off yourself this summer.

It was nice to hear about this special time! Sometimes parents forget that it’s not the things they give their children that are most important. Just the time together is the most special gift!
