What a neat book! I’d love to read this to see what we could do to get the kids out more.
We try to conserve electricity. We had a $70 electricity bill in August. In Texas!

We do our best to recycle, though it’s tough because we live in the middle of nowhere. But we do reuse things a lot. We’ve upgraded to greener lightbulbs and shower head and we use cloth shopping bags.

I always turn off the water when I brush my teeth. And I drive our recycling into town every other week since we don’t have recycling pick up… okay, I make my husband drive it in, but I think that still counts!

We recycle, have started a compost bin (the idea of my 10 year old daughter), and we try not to use the disposable plastic waterbottles.

We use cloth diapers on our little ones, and then hang them to dry. Good for the environment, good for our budget!
We really work at this from recycling to low watt bulbs etc. We actually drive a Pruis too. I guess we could be more cautious with utilities and remembering to adjust the temperature in the home. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway
