THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED!!!

christmas-tree2

I love giving books for Christmas…they serve several purposes: a gift, a learning tool and a tradition long in the making. This year along with a book I will be giving Mark-My-TimeTM digital bookmarks to the ones that I love. I think the love of reading is one of the best gifts you can give and  today’s economy has prompted many families to focus on more practical gifts that can be used over and over again instead of the lavish gifts of years past. And these multi-purpose bookmarks fit the bill perfectly.

A good place to start simplifying is stocking stuffers-those typically last-minute items shoppers find themselves frantically searching for after budgets-and nerves- have stretched well past their limits. To make sure this year’s stocking stuffers are enjoyable, yet practical, start by asking a few simple questions:

Is it affordable?
Will it fit in the stocking?
Is it easy to purchase?
Will it still be used or appreciated after the hype of the holidays is over?
When it comes to the new and improved Mark-My-TimeTM digital bookmark, you can answer “yes” to all of these questions.

Over the years, the Mark-My-TimeTM digital bookmark has helped thousands of students accurately monitor their required reading times. As a result, it has become a frequently used reading tool both in the home and in schools across the country. Now, the product that has proven to be so effective in getting kids excited about reading and actually wanting to read more, is even better. In addition to a traditional countdown timer and cumulative timer, the new and improved Mark-My-Time digital bookmark also features a special 60-second countdown, which is ideal for fluency testing. So students, as well as their teachers and parents, cannot only tell how long they’ve been reading, but also how quickly.

Like the original Mark-My-Time digital bookmark, the newest generation product is so convenient and easy to use. Simply push a button to set the timer for either a countdown or cumulative mode. With the countdown timer, students know, at a glance, how much time is remaining in their reading session. The cumulative timer is ideal for multiple reading sessions or when students need to know, collectively, how much they’re read in a day or even a week.

With its electronic functions and fun colors, it’s easy to see why the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark encourages kids to make reading a daily habit. And now there are even more colors from which to choose. New to the product offering are yellow, red and fuchsia bookmarks, which complete the original selection of neon green, blue and purple.

Sized like a traditional bookmark to fit neatly between the pages of any book, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is made of polyethylene plastic for added durability. At the top is a digital clock that’s powered by an inexpensive, replaceable watch battery.

In addition to serving as a useful tool during reading sessions, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is ideal for timing music practice sessions, timed math fact activities and homework study sessions. Ideal for children five years and older, the Mark-My-Time digital bookmark is available nationwide at leading bookstores, discount drug chains and wholesale clubs at an average retail price of $8.95.

For more information on the new and improved Mark-My-Time digital bookmark, retail availability, usage tips, testimonials and fundraising-related activities, or to place an online order, visit www.mark-my-time.com.

Yep, it is that easy! All entries must be received by Nov. 20th at 5 PM EST. All entries must have a valid US mailing address. 5. Sarah Hirsch says:

I’d choose neon purple as purple’s my daughter’s fave color. This would be great for her – they have a monthly calendar at school to track the amount of time read per month, and the timer would do a much better job of keeping track than I do!

  6. Jonathan says:

I’d got with the blue one.
I’m reading George R. R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire series, and I am really liking that a lot.
