Awhile back I won an awesome Cupcake Kit from McCormick. We have played around with it some but nothing too seriously until this past weekend. A friend asked us to help her out by making cupcakes for her grand daughters 1st birthday. So, we looked around and landed upon these precious cupcakes that look like Sunflowers with Ladybugs on them. It happened to be in the book “Hello, Cupcake” that came with the cupcake kit.
So we set about gathering all the stuff we would need and spent all of Friday afternoon and Friday evening making cupcakes. Here is how we ended up:
They were so cute. Not professional but cute just the same. We were all really pleased with how they turned out.
We also decided that not all Ladybugs needed to be red since our bag of M&M’s only had 6 red ones. SIX. Yeah, and I wasn’t about to go back to town for the gazillionth time that day.
They are adorable! I’m going to have to see about picking up that book!

I was able to taste one of these little treats. They were perfect in taste, color and texture. Made a little girl and her mother very happy.
