My Mom bought herself a lawnmower that she can use and maintain. I think she got tired of relying on us to either Mom her lawn or start her mower. Anyway, everyone of the kids that comes through here LOVES this thing. Tit is old fashioned, has no motor, is not newfangledwithtonsofbellsandwhistles, but they all love it! Who would have thought? And, it is great exercise. Even better for the environment. And Shhhh, it is fun to use. Please don’t tell. I have snuck over a few times to check it out and I really like it. But please don’t tell her, cause I made fun of her when she got it. I didn’t think it would work very good. I was wrong. Very wrong. And I love that the kids like to “play” with it, because when they do…they get half the work done! How great is that?

It reminds me of the toy vacuum cleaner I had as a kid (do they even still make those?) where you would push it and all the little balls would spin around.
My neighbor had one of those for his little postage stamp-sized lawn. I loved it because it made very little noise. I never thought about it being something for the kids to use. That is a great idea!

We used to have one of those things!! Maybe I need another one! Loved the photo. How ya feelin’?
I have one of those old fashioned lawnmowers, too! Aren’t they great!
Yes, my son had a “toy” dustbuster when he was growing up. I miss that thing.
I keep telling DH I want one of these for our camper yard area and he says no it won’t work well. I think geez well enough we are just camping you know! I can’t wait to show him this post LOL!
They really do work. And this one came with a sharpening kit so that when the blades to dull you can sharpen them to keep it working at its optimum level. They really are very neat to have!
