I met with some local authors today. What a great group of people. They had asked me to come to their meeting to discuss some ways that blogging can help to promote their books and what other benefits blogging could provide for them. I had such a great time talking with each of them. Pictured from left to right is Bill, Art and Deborah. You have been introduced to Deborah in a previous post and I hope to introduce you to Bill and Art soon. Each have a unique style of writing and the subjects are as individual as their personalities. I would like to thank each of them for having me and I hope to mingle with them again soon. I also want to thank The Book Nook for allowing Smartypants to “organize” their Tom Clancy section while we chatted. Now, I get to enjoy several new books from several new authors…and I can’t wait to dig in! Oh, and Bill…I did what I said I would do, now I just need to get one to you.

I THINK WE HAVE A PROM DRESS!!
That is of major importance in this house. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to survive this search. Teenage girls are very picky people. It takes them hours upon hours to choose anything…from socks to Oakley watches. So, if you ever have to go shopping with one, block out LARGE amounts of time.
