stuffed celery

Every Thanksgiving my Aunt JoAn brings stuffed celery for everyone to munch on until dinner is served. Now, while this doesn’t sound like much, the stuff is delicious. It has always been one of my favorites, even as a child. And now, my children love it. While this is her dish, I do make it all the time now…but never on Thanksgiving, that is her time. But I thought I would share the recipe with you, since I know you will are going to love it just as much as I do!

the ingredients needed for stuffed celery

Several Stalks of celery, washed and cut into 2-3 inch pieces

8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened

1/2 Cup Mayonnaise

3/4 Cup Chopped Pecans

Salt and Pepper to taste. I use approx 1/4 tsp each to start out with then add more if I feel it needs it after tasting.

plate of stuffed celery

Mix all ingredients together and stuff the celery stalks.  Refrigerate till ready to serve.

  1. Think I may try this one. I luv stuffed celery.

  2. I’ll have to try this. My sis-in-law use to make it using Blue Cheese, Mayo–stuff. Great taste

  3. This is kinda a twist on the peanut butter celery we used to have as a kid…maybe a more grown up version.

  4. Sounds quick, easy and delicious!

  5. We do that jar pimento spread. I know, jar yuck, but I love it as it reminds me of childhood. I must have it each year… lol
