I have put this little baby through the test. And, it has worked like a charm. I bought a TON of garlic, cause well, you know, it was on sale and all. So, I had been peeling all of it and placing it in a bowl in the fridge until I could get around to either mincing it and putting it in a jar or sealing whole cloves in individual baggies….and my whole kitchen SMELLED! But, once I put the MiniMate in the fridge, all the smell went away. And it worked on onion as well. As a matter of fact, my fridge has not had any smell to it (other than clean) since I have been using my MiniMate.
