Custom Magnetic Spice Rack (Give Away)

Check back soon for a Winner!

Congratulations Jill W!

A week or so ago I received a Custom Magnetic Spice Rack. Ohhh what a joy! As soon as the box arrived I had to tear into it right away, organize all of my spices and get it installed. I was like a kid in a candy store. I have always wanted one of these and it was WAY better than I ever expected.

Here is Mr. Technosavy installing the magnetic sheet. The company recommends using a J-roller, but since we didn’t have one we improvised with a rolling pin (yes, my walls are copper colored and my paper towel holder should have been moved). The installation process is quick and easy. The hardest part is deciding where you want it installed.

Here is a close-up of my finished project. You can choose from several different styles of tins: some square, some round. Clear lids so you can see your spices or solid lids so you don’t have to. You can get clear labels, solid labels, no labels, standard labels or customized labels. And there are many different fonts to choose from. The standard set has all the most commonly used spices available and will cover the needs of most people. Me, I need to order me some more tins and a set of customized labels next time to go with all of my custom blended spices. What you see is the Bravada set, standard labels, with a magnetic sheet. I got the clear lids (because I wanted to be able to see my spices and if I needed to buy more at just a glance) and I got the standard label set.

This is a picture of mine finished. I love it! Everyone has had to come and take a peek and my Mom especially wants one to go in her kitchen now. I think that is what she will get for Christmas this year. My neighbor through the woods is also enamored with it and plans to order one for herself. And I know that my sister is going to be so jealous, I haven’t even told her about it yet.

If you are interested in ordering a set for yourself there are several things that you will need to decide. 1.) Where do you want it? 2.) What shape and size of tins do you need and how many? 3.) Do you want the magnetic sheet, the magnetic strip or the magnetic rounds (the rounds are great for people with NO space, they can then put the tins on their refrigerator)? 4.) What type of labels and what font?

Custom Magnetic Spice Racks also has a idea section that can help you decide some of these question or give you ideas to do something totally different. There are a few in there that I absolutely love. At the top, just under the navigation bar on their website you will see other options to choose, they are in red and can be a little hard to see if you aren’t looking so browse through and look close, you will see some amazing projects.

Custom Magnetic Spice Racks also has the most amazing customer service I have encountered in a long time. There were some decisions that I just couldn’t make on my own so after talking with Heidi I just asked her to make the decisions for me and send me what she thought I needed based on her knowledge of her products. She was right on the money where I was concerned and sent exactly what I had envisioned. She is great in helping in any way that she can, and so nice about it.

Oh pick me. Oh pick me. This would look awesome hanging on my wall. I don’t have much space as it is now.

I added a post about this to my blog also!

I love the look of this spice rack. It would be so great to move all the spice clutter off the top of my microwave. I like how you can see through the tops because the spices are so lovely and colorful on their own. I’d definitely have this hanging out to admire!

what a great idea! I would definitely put up the magnetic sheet on my wall and frame it… and I love the fact that these can be seen through the covers. My hubby uses alot of spices, such as adobo on his meats and stuff, so this would be great to keep them on hand!

The site is great, it makes me wish I had more cabinet space. I would probably get the round tins, clear lids and clear labels. I would use the pre-cut magnets and put them on the side of my refrigerator. Thanks for the great giveaway! =)

I loved the site and their products. I like very much that the tins come in different sizes. It would be inconvenient to buy a new spice and have all of it not fit into your tin. it’s time for e to toss my outdated spices and buy all new ones and having one of these systems would be the way to do it.

  • lisa brawner  says:

THis si just so cool. I would have to buy all the tins I could fit on one from them. I make lotions and I am getting ready to start making soaps. I grow my own herbs and flowers to use. this would be awesome to have . It is important to have your stuff in reach when making soaps and lotions. This sure would be be perfect. You ought to market them to soapers ! I dont really dont have what most call exotic –but i do have unusuals — I use crushed marigolds–mums–rose petals and hips —dandelions –plantion –hibicus flowers –mums -catnip -among many that I use . I am getting rady to turn the laundry room into a soap making room. I would mount it right on the wall over the table .

  • Mrs. Sprinkles  says:

I would LOVE this–what an innovative idea! I have a ton of spices–probably turmeric, saffron, and arrowroot are my most “exotic.”

I’m about to close on our new house, so I would love to win this giveaway! I love these because it’s handy and you don’t have to search through all the spices to find what you want

  • Jennifer  says:

These are soooo neat! I’m not sure where I would put it exactly, but close to the stove! I like how you can see the spices through the clear lids

I love the clear lids that allow you to see what’s in the jars. I can’t decide between the square and round jars, and I prefer the smaller size for most of my spices. I would put it inside the cabinet door near my stove.

Wow! These are wonderful. Why didn’t I think of this!?

I think I would go for the square tins in 2.5 oz and 4 oz size and put them inside my cupboard doors on some magnetic strips. Like you I would have so much fun changing my spices into these containers. I’d go with the clear lids and labels so I could see when I needed to replenish. And I would alphabetize! Hallelujah!

Wow! Did I say wow? This is awesome. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before. I know excactly where I’d put it too. I have a cabnet close to my prep area this would go so nicely on and it would free up a whole much needed cabnet. Please enter me! I could use this so badly.
