Macaroni and Cheese Pie
If your family likes macaroni and cheese this is a must try. Yummmm!
1/2 cup elbow macaroni
2 TBSP butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Drop the elbow macaroni into 2 cups boiling water that has been seasoned with 1/4 tsp salt. Reduce to low heat, cover, cook for 7 minutes. Place 2 TBSP butter into a Pyrex pie dish, place in oven to melt. Once the butter has melted pour the drained macaroni into the Pyrex pie plate. Mix the 2 beaten eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 cup grated cheese and pour into pie dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
